Linn Skundberg Jensen shared the vision of X2 Labs as well as her personal story of transformation at work with an audience of thousands at the Made In Norway conference in Oslo Spectrum this morning. Her presentation immediately followed that of the CEO’s of three of Norway’s largest companies, Statoil, Telenor and Tine.
“90 days ago we didn't even exist. Today we were honored to share the stage with many of Norway's largest companies, the Prime Minister Erna Solberg and a range of international experts in speaking, discussing and collaborating on new Norwegian growth industries,” says Christian Rangen, CEO and co-founder of X2 Labs.
Linn is a lead innovator at X2labs, one of largest and most ambitious entrepreneurship programs in the Nordics, which is dedicated to successfully launching 50+ new companies in one year.
X2 was invited to present how we can create successful collaboration between corporates and startups at the annual conference of NHO, the main representative organisation for Norwegian employers with companies ranging from small family-owned businesses to multi-national companies.
Linn thrived in her job as petroleum engineer, but after a conversation with colleagues in Australia about a year ago she decided she wanted to work with entrepreneurship and innovation. “It made a huge impression on me when John Chambers, the former CEO of Cisco, said that 40% of companies will be dead in 10 years. That we will have to change, or be left behind, ” explains Linn.
“In order to do as well in the next 10 years as we’ve done in the past 10, we need active politicians that help facilitate entrepreneurship, we need established companies that are willing to change and try out new business concepts, and we need people who dare to start their own businesses that can contribute in new areas primed for growth,” she concludes.
